Thanksgiving

Wow it is hard to believe that it is December already, but time flies when your have fun! We have been experiencing some great things at the Lighthouse Church, and I wanted to share some of them with you.


We had our thanksgiving celebration last Sunday Morning and we had a wonderful time of celebration together. During the service we had 50 in attendance that morning with new families praying at the Alter together with the community as we expressed our thankfulness. God blessed us with a wonderful weekend and we celebrated the blessings of God in our lives. Pausing to be thankful can be so powerful in our life, because it changes our focus off of our problems, what we don’t have, and ourselves. When we began to look to our surroundings and not blessings in our life we will become impatience, selfish, jealous and a host of other destructive pattern. The Word tells us that we are over comers by the word of our testimony. So be thankful and be an over comer!
